These scholarships and grants are used to provide an opportunity to young athletes that may otherwise miss exposure to the sport of water polo. Playing is a privilege not a right based on that the Club cannot guarantee that all requests for Scholarship/Grant application will receive assistance.

All grants offered are subject to need and to the athlete’s and their family’s commitment to assist the program. A grant will be subject to the fulfillment of a stated number of hours of assistance provided. Failure to satisfy the commitment of hours tied to a scholarship/grant will lead to ineligibility for any future grant consideration.

Items you MAY be asked to provide:

All information provided under this request will be held in the strictest of confidence. It will be reviewed only by a subcommittee of the Team Vegas/Henderson Water Polo (Head Coach – one team captain – one other). Determination will be based on need.

Prior 2 years tax returns.

Current/recent paycheck stub supporting gross income of parents(s).

Recent copy of mortgage statement (if applicable).

Description of extraordinary costs that may not be apparent from the presented tax information.

Description of areas where the individual athlete or parents can assist the Club through volunteering their time and effort.
