If you saw the final Masters game you understand what I am talking about: Chawps thought they could do no wrong - never made a mistake - every call against them was a bad call they knew it all and no one knew the game better then all of them - they had no respect for any of the teams they played, had no respect for any of the ref's - they have no respect for the game we all love "Water Polo" what a shame!! So I thank all of you for not being like that and if you ever become one of them you know where the door is at!!
Recap of the games:
TVH Purple: Good Job: the teams effort - not giving!! Wanting to learn new skills, wanting to understand the game. Improvement with each game. Things to Work On: Seeing the entire game - knowing where the ball is at and reacting to the situation. Some of you need to listen and learn and not take things so personal.
TVH Black: Great team play! Good positive energy in the water! Things To Work On: Conditioning
TVH 16's: Good Job: State Champs!! Nevada State Champs beating Reno in both games!! Things To Work On:
everyone needs to swim on their own - it is going to be important your conditioning and speed swimming begin to improve - as you get older and you want to stay par or get better then rest of the players you need to swim on your own!!! After the Reno tournament the older club players will be put on a weight training program.
TVH 12's: Commerce is a well coached team understanding the ins and outs of the game and they have been playing for 3-4 years and some of you are able to stay with them and some are just as good and better then most of the Commerce players. Things to Work On: Giving your all at workouts - Listening - Doing what you are told to do and asking questions when you don't understand!!
Great Job working the desk - setting up - cleaning up - working the concession stand!!
Thanks Again - Your Proud Coach!!!

I heard a rumor that there is no practice for three weeks. Is this correct? I didn't see anything about this on the blog and Max is not always to reliable with information.

I, too, wish to congratulate the TVH teams. You were wonderful and great hosts. I am proud to live in the same area as this group!
