Dear Athletes and Parents,
The Team has an important announcement.
McCarthy Brooks, who is one of the original Team Vegas/Henderson members, had emergency surgery Tuesday Morning.
For those of you that don’t know the Brooks; they are one of the 1st families of TVH. The Mother (Jenny) and Father (Matt) both played with the Masters team and their 4 children (Liz, Matt Jr., Mary, & McCarthy) all played on the club team.
Although they moved away about 2 years ago, they are all part of our TVH family with Mary, McCarthy, and Jenny still competing with us in some of our out of town tournaments.
Both Mary (15) and McCarthy (11) were going to travel to Kearns to play with TVH at the Mountain Zone Championships. But due to this unfortunate emergency surgery McCarthy will not be able to attend. McCarthy is now in stable condition and will have his second surgery on Thursday. Then he has to be hospitalized for a few weeks to recover and for observation.
Please keep McCarthy in your thoughts and prayers. If you would like to send him or his family quick note or email with some thoughts or encouragement we urge you to do so.

We would also like to send a care package from the team to him at the hospital. So please hand write some letters or drawings to send him. Maybe some magazines or comics or puzzles (things to keep him busy.) Also, send some team pictures from practice letting him know that we are thinking about him and a speedy recovery.
