Pizza Buffet with Salad, Soup, Bread Sticks, and Dessert.

They serve food until 9:30pm and close at 10pm

Practice will end 5-10 minutes early so everyone can get there with time to eat and relax.

Prices: +tax

Adults - $5.49 Buffet plus $1.49 Drink

Children Ages 4 to 8 - $2.99 plus .99 drink

Children Ages 9 to 12 - $3.99 plus .99 drink

Also we will be saying farewell to Ridge. He is moving to Idaho at the end of the month.

Great weekend of water polo!

All the teams stepped it up, and many players made great strides to the next level. If there was any position that we had an advantage over the other teams, it was our stand out goalies! Sam, Lolo, and Austin saved our teams time after time.

Team Meeting

Parents and Athletes,

If are traveling to Kearns this weekend, there will be a MANDATORY team meeting on Friday night at 5:30pm at the Kearns Pool.

If you are in town, the team meeting will be this Friday night at 6:30pm at Multi Gen.

McCarthy

I know some of you have your gifts for McCarthy - please bring them to workout - I will be mailing everything on Tuesday, June 28th.

Northwood - 14's and 16's

Because of the low sign ups for the 14, 16, we are canceling the Northwood July Tournament. We have talked about going to these one day tournaments for over a year, getting in 3-4 games in one day at a very low cost and today we are canceling because only a few have paid to date. Those who have paid we will refund your money.

The 10's and 12 boys will attend the Northwood July 9th or 10th.

McCarthy Brooks

Dear Athletes and Parents,

The Team has an important announcement.

McCarthy Brooks, who is one of the original Team Vegas/Henderson members, had emergency surgery Tuesday Morning.

For those of you that don’t know the Brooks; they are one of the 1^st families of TVH. The Mother (Jenny) and Father (Matt) both played with the Masters team and their 4 children (Liz, Matt Jr., Mary, & McCarthy) all played on the club team.

Although they moved away about 2 years ago, they are all part of our TVH family with Mary, McCarthy, and Jenny still competing with us in some of our out of town tournaments.

Both Mary (15) and McCarthy (11) were going to travel to Kearns to play with TVH at the Mountain Zone Championships. But due to this unfortunate emergency surgery McCarthy will not be able to attend. McCarthy is now in stable condition and will have his second surgery on Thursday. Then he has to be hospitalized for a few weeks to recover and for observation.

Please keep McCarthy in your thoughts and prayers. If you would like to send him or his family quick note or email with some thoughts or encouragement we urge you to do so.

You can email Sandy – tweetwo@cox.net and she can forward your message.

We would also like to send a care package from the team to him at the hospital. So please hand write some letters or drawings to send him. Maybe some magazines or comics or puzzles (things to keep him busy.) Also, send some team pictures from practice letting him know that we are thinking about him and a speedy recovery.

Fireworks Booth

Athletes and Parents,

The fourth of July is right around the corner and our Team will be participating in fireworks sales again this year.

This was our Team's most productive fund raiser last year and if everyone participates in the pre-sales and manning of the booth it will be even bigger this year! Many of our family members, friends and neighbors purchase fireworks each July - why not purchase from us?! You will soon be given a fireworks pamphlet and order form for pre-sales.

All pre-sales receive 10% discount (as reflected on the order form). Our goal is for every registered team member to pre-sale a minimum of $50 worth of fireworks. The top two producers in pre-sales will receive a special prize from Sandy! As an addition to last year, this year we will have the ability to process credit card orders both for pre-sales and at the booth during business.

Rob Wills (Masters goalie) and John and Wendy DeFusco are coordinating the fund raising efforts this year. They (or their designee) will be distributing more detailed information about pre-sales and will also be reaching out to you for booth scheduling in the very near future.

We'd like to get one contact person for each group level to assist in coordinating the scheduling and pre-sales. If you would like to assist Rob, John and Wendy with your particular group, please contact Rob at 702-813-2263(cell) or email him at vegash2opolodad@gmail.com. Any help would be extremely appreciated.

Coaches will be handing out the firework packets at each pool that will be explaining this fundraiser on Thursday, June 9th at the end practice. So whatever pool you are at, please plan on attending a brief 10 minute meeting.

Lets all put our efforts together in keeping our team strong by making this fund raiser even more successful than last year!

FRUIT SALE WRAP-UP and DELIVERY REMINDER

Team members sold a total of 218 apples/pears boxes at $18 each.

Team members collected donations for this fundraiser, as small as FIFTY CENTS up to ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS.

WE RAISED OVER $1,600!!!!!

These 3 top sellers went above and beyond getting out there and supporting the team. For their great efforts, each of them will be receive a number of gifts from Sandy. Prizes to include; team apparel, team gear, suits, towels, hats, gift cards. Great job you guys!

From these sales the team can now buy; game clocks for our local tournaments, new practice caps, stringers for the caps,and with this money we also will be able to purchase a domain and host our own website!! Look for the new site soon!!
