ODP West Championship Results
Great weekend of water polo, Whitney told me so many parents sent texts saying how well their kids were doing - she kept replying "you must be so proud" "you must be proud"
Here are the results for the Girls:
Eleanor was the high scorer in the 10/11th Grade Division
Eleanor and Santana were both selected to the NTSC and both their teams took 1st place, there were no results posted, so I do not know the order of finish after the MTN.
Here are the results for the Boys:
8th Grade
1st: MTN White
2nd: MTN Blue
9th & Under
1st: PNW Red - 9th Team
2nd: MTN Red - 9th Team
3rd: MTN White - 8th Team
4th: SW Red - 9th Team
5th: MTN Blue - 8th Team
High Scorer: Max Taylor
Top Player: Max Taylor
All Region Team
Max Taylor
Nik Galvin
Joey DeFusco
Players selected to attend the NTSC: Max moved from the 9th Grade team to the 11th Grade team, Dale,
Brendan, Joey, Jorge, Skyler, Noah, Nik, Derek, Andre and Lake as the 1st Alternate.
11th Grade
1st: MTN Red
2nd: PNW Red
3rd: SW Red
4th: MTN Blue
Top Coach: Tony Chanove
Sitting at the table with the National Coaches and listening to them talk about the Vegas/Henderson players made me so proud. The National Team Goalie Coach has very encouraging words for our goalies (Nolan and Stephen) saying they both have the talent and just need to be in better shape! Both Nolan and Stephen got better with each game. Both goalies made many great saves!!!!

UNLV Pool
TVWP Masters - Rebel Water Polo Club
Liability is of great concern and is grounds for immediate eviction out of the UNLV pool.
Everyone participating in any practice must have a current USWP membership. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! This includes all coaches, players and referees.
All lane lines at both ends must be tighten when we leave the pool. Pool vacuum can't work with loosened lane lines.
When placing the cage out or in the water DO NOT drop on the deck!!! Place in water and lift it up when removing - no sliding on deck surface.
Please account for all bungee chords or ropes attached to cage. Last week pool vacuum broke because it sucked up a bungee chord.
All water and shower facets turned completely off in locker room. Last person out please check.
Both lockers locked when leaving. Last person out please check.
Every door must be securely closed. Please check both ends - don't assume it is closed properly.
All pool lights off - including lights in the tunnel. Last person out please check.
Effective March 21, 2011 we will all assist in moving the bulkhead when needed and making sure the course is re-set for swimming whether it be for short course or long course practices. Everyone helps:):):)
By taking the time to make sure all items above are completed during each practice we are assured continued occupancy of the pool.
**** Thank you for your support and attention *****

What a great weekend!! By far our favorite weekend every year! So great to see so many seasoned athletes still enjoying the sport they love. BIG THANK YOU to our VIP Coaches. The weekend was a product of your compassion for the sport and your eagerness to help others. The participants seemed to flourish off your smiles and great attitude the whole weekend. Thank you to all the athletes that come back year after year. We appreciate your dedication to this event and the joy you bring to it. To all the athletes, we hope to see you all again next year and the years to come. THANK YOU all for making this such a special event for us to run.
