Yaqi Shower

OK Joe, Yaqi has a full understanding of what an American Wedding Shower is all about.
Shower Game winners were:
Vaune (dead eye)- Shannon (honeymoon) - Jenny (love-shower-ball/chain-baby) - Cathy (wow) -
Shannon (ring toss) - Yaqi Bingo Champ!!!!
Angie did not win a prize but she helped Yaqi to understand most of her presents.
Diana did not win a prize, she came late to take the late shift.
Chandler did not win but went away with her twins.
Mary did not win but had the best purple balloon.
Valerie did not win but pop the balloon quickly!!!

A good time, great time, awesome time and could not stop laughing!!

Club Summer Workouts

I have scheduled extra workouts for the summer - these workouts will be for the older players: Ask Sandy

Beginning June 13th - on Tuesdays and Friday from: 10:15 am to 12:15 pm at the Multi Gen Pool
(No extra cost)

Saturdays

We are finally outdoors on Saturdays!! Multi Gen Pool in Green Valley!!

Club 1-2:30 pm
Masters 2-4 pm

Bring water!!

Club and Masters

This Saturday May 6th - Workout will be held at Whitney Ranch - (last swim meet at the MGP). This will be our last workout indoor till the fall. 1-2:30 pm Club and 2-4 pm Masters.

No Workout on the following days:
May 19 & 20th (City of Henderson Aquatic Staff has In Service, all pools will be closed)
May 26 & 27th Hoilday Weekend

Don't forget May 21st - Sunday - Team Vegas/Henderson Water Polo will have Awards Day for both Club and Masters. Flyers will be out soon.

Master Nationals

Looks like everyone is now registered - Now we need the following to pay $75 for the Championships:

Tournaments for the Summer

Here are the tournaments we will be entering in for the summer:

June 4th - Sunday - CHAWP (Chino Hills Area Water Polo) 12 & Under Coed
(See Mark for details)

June 24th - Saturday - CHAWP 16 & Under
We will drive out early Sat and drive back Sat pm. Cost: $40
You must arrange your own ride (it is about a 3.5-4 hour drive) with the cost of gas going up
let's make sure all our seats are filled. If you ride with another family please help pay for
your share of the gas. You must bring your own food & snack money for the day.

Nik - Alex - Eliz - Sarah - Jeff - Jill - Adam

July 8th - Saturday - Women's Open Murrieta
This is only a Saturday tournament but games can begin as early as 8 am - and the last game will finish by 5 pm. Murrieta is about a 4.5-5 hour drive. I will get info on hotel and post on the blog. The tournament cost per player $30. You must arrange your own ride - hotel. The following players can attend: Jenny, Vaune, Chandler, Eliz, Shannon, Lee, Amy, Whitney (I will find us a goalie - we will not have more than 2 subs). Money due by May 21st

July 9th - Sunday - Men's Open Murrieta

Some time in late August American Water Polo may host their tournament here in Vegas again.

MASTERS - NO WORKOUT MONDAY

MASTER NO WORKOUT TONIGHT!!! THE POOL PUMP IS DOWN!! IF YOU WENT TO ARIZONA PLEASE TRY TO GET IN ANOTHER POOL AND SWIM DOWN AT LEAST 10-20 MINS.

The master team went undeated with 5 wins over: Burlingame (last years winner), Kearns Utah, Closers, Old Pueblo and XXYY. The award was a kickboard - we will have everyone sign the kickboard so we can show case it at the Whitney Ranch pool.
