3rd - Thur - Waves at Whitney, Rapids and Surf's at MGP - same times
4th - Fri - NO WORKOUT - HOILDAY PARTY - SEE FLYERS
5th - Sat - Workout at Whitney 1-2:15 (last 15 mins talk) Waves and younger Rapids
- Workout at Whitney 1:55-3:30 Older Rapids and Surf's
- Workout at Whitney 3:30-5:00 pm - Masters
7th - Monday NO workout for Masters pool is closed down
8th - Tuesday all Waves, Rapids, Surf are at Whitney 6:30-9 pm (Waves and some Rapids are finished at 8:30 pm) Surf go till 9 pm
9th - Wed NO Workout for Masters - pool is closed
10th - Thur - same as Tue
11th - Friday No workout - leave for Commerce
12th - Sat - Masters at Whitney 3 to 4:30 pm

14th - Monday Masters back to MGP 6:30 - 8 pm
15th - Tuesday Waves at Whtiney - Rapid and Surf's at MGP 6:30-8 pm
17th - Wed Masters MGP 6:00 - 8 pm
18th - Thur same as Tuesday
19th - Friday - Waves - Rapids - Surf's at MGP 6-8 pm
20th - Sat - Workout at Whitney
-Waves and younger Rapids 1-2:15
-Surf and older Rapids 1:55-3:30
-Masters 3:30-5 pm.

ODP Boys Camp 1

Tony and Louie would like to Thank all the parents who help make this past weekend a great experience for our Zone players. I believe we/coaches, parents and players help set an example of how to host a camp!

Everyone who has not read the rules of Water Polo should.... Here is a link to the rules. Don't feel like you have to read in one sitting, it will take a while before you understand all the rules. You don't have know the exact size of the goals. Try to read one or two new rules a day till you have complete this Rule book.

If you have questions on the rules ask one of the coaches, we are more than happy to help you with any questions you may have.

Workout Schedule for Nov and Dec

November 24 - Tuesday - Club - everyone at Whitney 6:30-9 pm
November 25 - Wednesday - Master Workout as normal 6:30-8 pm MGP
November 26-27-28 - Th-Fri-Sat NO WORKOUT - HAPPY TURKEY DAY

NO workout Dec 4th Friday - Holiday Party for Club and Masters - Gift Exchange and for the club players: Slave Sale - buy the kids for hard labor (paint, trash, clean house). Colleen (Dale's Mom) has the flyer's.

Dec 5th - Sat at Whitney - all workouts will be moved to Whitney till Spring. 1-2 pm Waves 1:50-3:15 Rapids 3:15-4:30 pm Masters.

NO Workouts for Masters Dec 7th (Monday) 9th (Wed) and 14th (Monday) pool closed.

Holiday Break: Dec 23rd (Wed to Sat) to 26th Also Dec 31st Thur to Jan 2nd Sat.

Jan 4th - Bring goggles - time to work that Turkey and Holiday celebration off!!!

The following are registering in the wrong water polo... you are not in the advanced group you are in club: OK for this month please make sure you sign up for the correct class next month: Derek, Joey, Sarah, Andra, Sam, Casey, Murphy and Laura.

Speedo Cup

What a great weekend of water polo! All the players came ready to play and experienced the competition level we strive for. We had games every day and each game we accomplished our goal or learned something from the game before and not repeating our mistakes and taking advantage of the other teams mistakes.

From the Canham Pool to the "M Den"(Michigan Gift Shop) to Jimmy John's(Best Sandwiches) to the Big House(Michigan Stadium), I don't think I ever saw a player not smiling and not having fun the whole trip.

Players - Very good and behaving and dedicating this weekend to learning and participating in as much polo as you could. Great focus in and out of the water, and especially all the questions you all asked. Also, GREAT job on getting to know and make your 6 new teammates feel welcome all weekend.

Congratulations to Max Taylor on being honored with the "Jody Campbell Award". His determination, energy, and team attitude allowed him to achieve this prestigious award given to the most outstanding players of the Speedo Cup.

Parents - THANK YOU! For keeping the kids in line and all your support. From planning team dinners, getting water to the players and coaches during games, finding places to visit and places to eat, to reminding me to take pictures at every possible moment! The kids felt like rockstars with all the cameras and film around them. Even though they gave you all a hard time during team pic time and always being told to smile, they will thank you for the memories. Thank you again for coming along and supporting the players and the team.

Scottsdale Winter Tournament

Drew Bauer now the coach for Scottsdale Water Polo is going to host a tournament. Jan 22-24, 2009. He will have two divisions: A and B both open divisions. Before I can set a price on the tournament I need to know how many can go? I would really like to show support to Drew's tournament (when Drew was playing with us he did so much for the team and sponsored many of our club players). This is open to all Masters.

Figure your cost: $75-90 plus your hotel, transportation, meals. Please let me know on or before November 30th - After Thanksgiving.

Speedo Cup

Our boys (Max, Sky, Derek, Joey, Nik and Tyler Miao. They will be meeting up with two boys from Utah (Nate and Trishan) and four boys from Arizona (we only know Austin).

We wish them a safe and fun trip!!! They get to wear our new water polo caps!! Picture Derek our birthday boy with Sky...we are having a Speedo Cup sent off dinner at Metro Pizza.

Commerce Info

We are set for the Commerce Tournament. The cost for each player is $85.00... this includes the cost for entry fees, coaches expenses, Gift Card for Carmen (we are staying in her warehouse). Bring sleeping bag and pillow.

Please pay Trish, Matt or Cheryl on or before Nov 21st - Saturday.

Dues

There were problems with the system to pay dues - it is corrected now. Please pay this week.

ODP Players

We are going to have a special meeting for the players who are doing ODP.

Date: Nov 21st
Time: 8:00 am to 12:30 pm then off to workout
Locations: Sandy's 59 Desert Sunflower Circle, Henderson NV 89002

We are going over drills, skills and system of the ODP.

TVH Players to attend: Eleanor, Gabby, Hannah, Max, Brendan, Josh, Ben, Noland, Sky, Dr Phil, Steven, Zach. If others would like to attend let me know.

Bring $5.00 for pizza and drinks... we will break for Lunch at 10:30 am.

Commerce

Don't forget you need return the forms for the Commerce Tournament - due:
Tuesday - Nov 10th!!!!!

If we do not have forms returned to put together enough players will are not going to enter!!!
