Steven's jazz combo is playing at a new restaurant called Daddy Macs on Green Valley parkway, just north of Sunset, Sept 18th. The address is 2920 N. Green Valley Parkway Building #6. Would you post a notice on the blog so that if anyone is looking for somewhere new to eat on Friday night, then stop by? The boys are playing from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The restaurant has a reasonably priced menu, with Burgers, Salads, Hot Sandwiches, Pizza and Pastas. Most items are under $10 except for the larger entrees which are around $15.

I know you will not be able to fill out some of the questions because we/you do not have all the info on locations of camps and tournaments. Get these in before the due date to even be considered.

Speedo Cup
I need to know by Thursday Sept 10th if you can go to the Speedo Cup. The Speedo Cup is a National Tournament for teams across the USA only the top team from each Zone are allowed to attend. Info and Rules:
1. You can NOT be in High School.
2. You must be born in 1995 or later.
3. You must be registered with USWP as a Gold Member.
4. We are joining players from other teams in our Zone, because teams in our zone either do not have enough players to make a full team or players on their teams could not keep up with the other teams.
5. The Speedo Cup will be held in Mich - Nov 6-9
6. Your cost would be: Entry Fee - flight - ground transportation - meals - hotel - splitting cost for the coach.
7. Our team will be allowed to select 3 players (3 males - 3 females)
Players who have shown an interest so far are: Max Taylor - Hannah - Dale -

HEY GANG I HAVE HAD A WEEK TO THINK ABOUT WHAT TRANSPIRED LAST WEEK AND THE ONLY THING I CAN SAY IS WOW!
WOW, I TURNED 40 YEARS OLD. WOW, WE HOSTED ONE OF OUR BEST TOURNAMENTS EVER. WOW, WE HAVE THE BEST PARENTS AND PLAYER PARTICIPATION EVER.
PARENTS, A SPECIAL THANKS FOR HELPING HOST A GREAT TOURNAMENT. FROM THE SCORE TABLES, THE CONCESSION STAND AND SHIRT TABLE. YOU GUYS MADE THIS EXPERIENCE A GREAT ONE, NOT ONLY FOR US COACHES BUT FOR ALL THE PLAYERS THAT ATTENDED THIS TOURNAMENT. I THINK JEN LEADERS SUMMED IT UP THE BEST WHEN SHE OVERHEARD A COUPLE OF PLAYERS AND COACHES COMMENT ON HOW ORGANIZED AND SMOOTH THIS TOURNAMENT WAS. THEY COULDN'T WAIT TO SIGN UP FOR NEXT YEAR. Truck Needed
Next week everyone will be at the MGP for workouts. We need the following items to be moved from Whitney to the MGP on or before Monday:
2 Pitch Back Nets
3 Hoola Hoops (things Tony made to keep balls in)
half of the small Red balls (10 & Under)
Please let me know if you can bring this equip from Whitney to MGP.
