Awards Date

We will be holding our Awards Day - May 21st (Sunday) - please mark your calendars. Please note: Your family is invite to attend - brothers, sisters, mom, dad, wife, husband. The money we raised from the Garage Sale will pay for all the Hot dogs, Burgers, Cake, drinks, Prizes for the games and all the awards. More info to follow!!

Team Captains

The club will select new Team Captains this month. If you are interest in becoming Team Captain (1 male - 1 female) or if you want to nominate someone email me with your name or your nomination. tweetwo@cox.net

Alex and Jeff did an outstanding job as our Team Captains for the last year and a half. The team and the coaches thank both of you for all the work you did for the team!!!

Club - Trip Managers Needed

We need 3 Trip Managers for the following tournaments:

June 4 th (Sunday) Chawp's 12 & Under Coed

June 24th (Saturday) Chawp's 16 & Under Boys (we will take our girls too)

June 29th - July 2 (Thursday - Friday - Sat - maybe Sunday) - 18 & Under Boys (we will take our girls too) Kearns

Duties are:
Determine price per player (hotel - entry fees - coaches cost - etc)
Work with coaches on hotels reservations - and rooming list
Finds parents to drive (rent or drive our cars?)
Making sure everyone is registered with United States Water Polo

We are back at MGP on Tuesday!! 6:30 - 8 pm We will at the outdoor pool till Oct 2006.

Master Nationals - San Diego

The following players need to register with USWP:

I need to turn in our roster on April 17th - please register before the 17th!!

The cost for the Nationals is $75 per player - the following players have paid: John, Matt, Jenny, Joe, Drew and Vaune.

If you have not paid for April please do so at Saturday's workout at Whitney Ranch!!!

All Right!!! Yard Sale!!!

Before I give you the final total in sales, I want to Thank the following players and parents who helped: Pam & Jeff gammas for getting this event off the ground.

The following donated items for the Yard Sale: Sandy, vane, Pam & Jeff gammas, Melissa, Thro, Drew, Mike, the Brooks, march & Andrew, anise & Adam, Patti & Ryan, Luis & his boys, Tony & scalier & Rob Wills.

The following players/parents worked the Sale: Thank you: vane, Jenny and march for getting the items for sale organized. Patti & Ryan were the 6 am shift and thanks for the great bagels!!
anise and Adam were also the morning shift. Tony was a great wheel dealer, then Rob stepped in was a real salesperson out there. Players who help: Alex, Andrew, scalier, Hunter, Eleanor, Sam, Mary, McCarthy. The later shift was: Valerie melee, march, Jenny, Matt. The clean up shift was: McGee and his truck - Mike - Valerie - march and vane. UP lives alone and dose not have anything to donate but will make a donation to the club. Thanks UP.

The total was: Seven hundres and sixty seven dollars.... $767 (vaune put in a few pennies to round it out). We are planning on using this money to host an Awards Day - for both the club, masters and your family. A Bar-B-Que, games, prizes and a few awards. This will happen at the end of the summer.

I am disappointed in the lack of team participation in both the donations and help. But we will still use this money for the entire team.
